BWA Announce Dates for 2020

Managing competitive wavesailing in the British Isles through the BWA UK Wavesailing Championship Tour. Working with the UK Windsurfing Association to provide governance and membership services.

BWA announce dates for 2020 Last season the Tiree and Cornwall events were blessed with both wind and waves, and we saw exciting competition action across all fleets. We'd like to thank competitors, judges and event crew for making these events such a great success in 2019. We'd also like to say a special thank you to our event hosts William MacLean, Dave Buckland, Clyde Waite and Ian Ross for all their hard work behind the scenes. The Future Pros went from strength to strength and the programme will continue in 2020. The additional of Sam Ross to the coaching team was an inspiration for old and young alike. We are looking forward to the Future Pro events at Rhosneigr, Cornwall and Tiree. A south coast Future Pros event is being discussed and details will be confirmed at a later date. The BWA team would also like to extend their thanks to Clyde Waite and his Avon/Southbourne crew for all the amazing work they have put into hosting their events. Unfortunately due other commitments they are unable to host a BWA event in 2020. Ireland 2021? We'd like to gauge interest for returning to Ireland for 2021, so please let Geoff know if you have a hankering for the Emerald Isle. Wales, Rhosneigr, hosted by Funsports May 8 - 10th 2020 Pro's. May 9 - 10th 2020 All other fleets. We are also including the facility to extend an additional ‘Pro Forecast Day’ of either 24th or 28th Oct for Pros only. This day will be added at the discretion of the organisers. Rollover option: Either of the next two weekends. Rhosneigr Future Pros  Rhosneigr Future Pros dates are the first Saturday 9th May 2020 and Sunday 10th May 2020.
